Gauge glass gaskets are precision-cut sealing components used to create a leak-proof, pressure-resistant seal between the sight glass and the housing of a liquid level gauge or boiler water column. These gaskets ensure clear, unobstructed readings by preventing fluid or steam leaks in boilers, pressure vessels, and industrial tanks.
Made from materials such as EPDM, graphite, PTFE, non-asbestos fiber, and rubber, gauge glass gaskets are chosen for their ability to withstand high temperatures, steam pressure, and chemical exposure. They are available in round, rectangular, and oblong shapes to fit reflex, transparent, tubular, and flat glass types.
